The Original Bed Handle/Assistant is sold in pairs. They are 20 inches wide and 16 inches tall and extend approximatly 34" under the mattress. Made of one piece continuous steel and covered with white textured vinyls. These handles ARE NOT adjustable. You push them between your box spring and mattress and they remain stable in all directions. Why Two Handles?  Two handles means you don't have to twist to one side as you stand up...push with both arms.
